About Sabrina
Sabrina is not a politician, she is a mother who has made advocating for public education her business.
Sabrina attended Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and graduated from North Forsyth in 1996. Sabrina stepped back into public education as a volunteer at her children’s school. She has a 3rd and 9th grader who currently attend WS/FCS schools. She has worked her way up from PTA member to president, chaired committees that enhance community within the school, and represented families on the school improvement team. She is a trained volunteer in the WS/FCS Reading Warrior program where she works with elementary students who are learning to read. Over the past 10 years she has spent countless hours inside schools and classrooms across the district observing the processes, engaging with and advocating for students, educators and staff.
She is a member of the Parents/Caregiver focus groups on the Districts new Code of Character, Conduct and Support and then transitioned to the Community Presentation Team to roll out the information to the public. Her dedication to serving in our schools earned her the distinguished spot of Top 5 Finalist for the 2022 Districts Core Awards Volunteer of the Year.
